Germination Failure Policy | Highbreed Seeds

Highbreed Seeds Germination Failure Policy

At Highbreed Seeds we trust in the quality of our genetics and want every seed to fulfil its purpose. That is why we offer a clear, fair and grower-oriented germination failure policy. If one of our seeds does not germinate despite following the process correctly, we want to know about it and make it right.

🌱 Our commitment

We cover any proven germination failure, with no minimum thresholds and no fine print. If a Highbreed Seeds seed does not germinate and the conditions of this policy are met, we will offer you compensation.

✅ What this policy covers

Applicable to all our seeds: Feminized, Regular and Autoflowering alike.

  • Seeds purchased directly from Highbreed Seeds or through official distributors.
  • Failures in the germination process within the established period.
  • Correct methods: cases where the grower has followed the recommended germination conditions (see our Germination Guide).

⏱️ Claim period

30 days from the date of purchase.

After that period, we cannot guarantee coverage. If you plan to store your seeds to germinate them later, we recommend doing so within 30 days, or keeping your proof of purchase for future enquiries.

📸 Required evidence

To process any claim we need two images:

  1. Photo of the original batch or label of the Highbreed Seeds package, clearly showing the variety and batch number.
  2. Photo of the germination method used, showing the seeds as they are during the process (wet paper, glass, substrate, jiffy…).

This evidence allows us to verify that the product is ours and that the method used was appropriate.

🎁 What we offer

If your claim is accepted, you can choose between two options:

  • Replacement: we send the same number and variety of seeds that failed.
  • Credit: you receive credit for the equivalent value to use on your next purchase at Highbreed Seeds.

You choose whichever option suits you best.

❌ What this policy does NOT cover

For this policy to remain sustainable and fair, there are two cases we cannot cover:

  • Failure to follow the recommended growing conditions. If the failure is due to inadequate conditions (temperature out of range, excess or lack of moisture, unsuitable substrate, incorrect handling of the radicle…), it is not considered a product failure. That is why we ask you for the photo of the method used.
  • Claims without a package or order number. Without this information we cannot verify that the seeds are Highbreed Seeds or trace the affected batch. Always keep the original packaging and your purchase confirmation.

📩 How to open a claim

  1. Gather the two photos (batch/label and germination method).
  2. Have your order number or purchase receipt to hand.
  3. Contact us through our web chat or write to us briefly describing what happened.
  4. We will open a case for you and our support team will get in touch within a maximum of 48 working hours.

💡 Tips to minimise failures

  • Follow our Germination Guide step by step before you begin.
  • Most failures come from temperatures below 20°C, excess moisture or incorrect handling of the radicle.
  • Keep your seeds in a cool, dry and dark place while you are not using them.
  • Good germination starts with a good method.

Do you have questions about our failure policy? We are here to help. Contact us by chat and we will resolve any queries before, during or after your purchase.
